Exciting New Workshops for the People of Puerto Vallarta.
The El Pitillal Cultural Center is opening new workshops for the Vallarta community with the aim of fostering greater knowledge and skills among young individuals. It's important to recall that this center was previously the old Pitillal Municipal Market and, after years of neglect, it has been revitalized under the current administration to become a hub for cultural activities.
The municipal spaces of Puerto Vallarta have transformed into genuine hubs of culture for society. For decades, the cultural realm, which is often seen as the source of peace, had been neglected. It is believed that the more young people engage with culture and the arts, the less likely they are to adopt antisocial behaviors.
Among the new workshops being offered are:
Rhythmic Gymnastics, held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a fee of $350 and a $200 registration fee.
Piano lessons, taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm, with a fee of $350 and a $200 registration fee.
Yoga classes, available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, priced at $350 with a $200 registration fee.
Don't forget that there are also classes in painting and drawing, terracotta, skateboarding, saxophone, chess, guitar, computer skills, graphic design, clay modeling, sewing and tailoring, English, Hawaiian and Tahitian dance, amigurumi, singing and music initiation, school tutoring, and charcoal portrait drawing.
The El Pitillal Cultural Center is conveniently located at the beginning of the bridge to Soriana Pitillal, offering parking facilities and a café area. While the young learners immerse themselves in their chosen discipline, you can enjoy a delicious coffee or dessert. The center is open from 9 am to 8 pm, and for further information, you can call 322-403-0494.
