We are so very proud of our physicians - Every specialty available, board certified, bi-lingual, caring and professional. Do you need a physical therapist? A cardiologist? An ENT? A neurologist? Dermatologist? We have them all! As well, we have all diagnostic studies available, from MRIs to Ultrasounds. All with state-of-the-art equipment.

January 12th - We will be doing a summary of our “End of Life in Banderas Bay” event done a couple of months ago. Do you need a living will? How much is cremation? Not happy topics, but important.

January 19th - Paty Villanueva, our star podiatrist will talk about “Foot Care in the Tropics”. From fungus to pedicures, she will cover it! The cobblestones here can really “beat up your feet”. Combine that with the humidity and you can have some big problems.

January 26th - Dr. Diaz-Nuñez (ENT) will speak on “Vertigo” – causes and treatment. So many people suffer from this (oftentimes) debilitating issue.

HealthCare Resources Clinics:

All our clinics are screening-only clinics (no procedures are performed). They fill quickly this time of year. If you would like to attend, please send an email.

Skin Clinic – Jan. 13 & 27 - 300 pesos (PLUS members: 250 pesos). A complete head to toe screening for skin cancer performed by an oncologist.

Ear Clinic – Jan. 14 - 375 pesos (PLUS members: 325 pesos). Performed by an ENT, have your ears checked and cleaned if necessary. This is NOT a hearing test!

Cardiology Clinic – Jan. 15 - Cost: 550 pesos (PLUS members: 500 pesos). Electrocardiogram, complete consult/exam by a cardiologist. **Labwork recommended prior to the clinic at a discounted price. (This is a BIG bargain – regular consult with a cardiologist with EKG is 920 pesos!)

Vascular Clinic – Jan. 15 - 400 pesos (PLUS members: 350 pesos). Blood flow evaluation by a vascular specialist, especially focusing on the legs (varicose veins, leg pain, clots, etc).

Eye Clinic – Jan. 19 - 450 pesos (PLUS members: 400 pesos). Vision exam, pressure test for glaucoma with complete consult by an ophthalmologist.

Women’s Clinic – Jan. 20 - 775 pesos (PLUS members: 690 pesos). Pap smear, pelvic exam with a female GYN. **Labwork for hormone levels available at a discounted price to be done prior to the clinic.

Foot Clinic – Jan. 21 - 300 pesos (PLUS members: 275 pesos). Our podiatrist will check your balance, fungus – everything regarding your “tootsies”.

Mammogram Clinic – Jan. 22 - 990 pesos (PLUS members: 900 pesos). Digital mammogram, breast ultrasound (if deemed necessary), manual exam and review of films.

Others!

An audiologist comes from the US once a month. If you need a hearing evaluation, hearing aid repair/adjustment, please let us know and we will make an appointment with her.

We offer a complete Men’s Check-up and Women’s Check-up that include a follow up consult with a great GP.

We work with a stellar woman who does a wide variety of Acupuncture / Acupressure complimentary therapies. She specializes in pain control!

We do not sell insurance, but we do work with a wide variety of representatives who offer various policies. Contact me for details.

One on One: I am more than happy to schedule a time to sit down, have a chat and cover general healthcare information in the area.

We also have a fantastic allergist, completely bilingual.

PLUS Membership: You do not need to be a PLUS member to use our services but PLUS members receive discounts, we keep your medical record, some “extra-handholding”, etc.

HealthCare Resources is an INDEPENDENT company. We are not “employed” by any specific hospital. We do not work on a commission/referral fee basis. We have individual contracts with our physicians and 2 (and most likely, soon to be 3) private hospitals.
