10TNavy Rescues 10 American and a Chinese tourists, after being adrift in Puerto Vallarta.

Personnel assigned to Naval Zone Station Eighth Search and Rescue Puerto Vallarta,  rescued in good health at 10 tourists, who were traveling aboard a small boat that drifted.

The rescue took place last night upon receiving a call from the

Port Vallarta, reporting that they had a request for help from the skipper "Aromi" Mexican flag, who required support trailer because their boat had left without propulsion, carrying 10 foreign tourists, including three children.

So the Secretary of the Navy of Mexico (Semar), ordered the departure of a vessel Defender Naval Station Search and Rescue, which is located approximately 3.7 kilometers southwest of Puerto Vallarta, to the boat "Aromi". The tourists were shipped in the rescue unit of the Navy to transfer to the pier of the Eighth Naval District, where they performed a medical assessment.

Meanwhile the boat "Aromi" was towed into port by a civilian boat.
