People's Government Starts Season of Felling of Trees

With the aim of protecting the natural heritage, achieving balance between the productive activities and the protection of nature, the Government of the people attended the validation of results in its stage of characterization and diagnosis, who presented the technical organ of the Committee of the program of ecological ordering in the municipality of La Yesca.

There arose the need to establish temporary vedas for the felling of timber and not authorize forestry exploitations in order to prevent the extinction of the timber
resources due to the need that in some parts of the mountainous area needs multiply forest areas.

It is worth mentioning that this strategy implemented by the Government of Roberto Sandoval will succeed in inducing the productive activities to areas of higher vocation and less environmental impact, moreover, the environmental and social conflicts will decrease.

 Finally, the technical organ of the Committee of the ecological program ordering in the municipality of La Yesca stressed the importance of having this program since it is vital to order the use of land in a municipality dominated by erosion processes and the practices of illegal exploitation of forests.
