Roberto Sandoval Castañeda Manages 14 Million Pesos For Nayaritas Fishermen

Roberto Sandoval Castañeda extends to nayarit more than 14 millions of pesos in support to the fisheries sector and the first one to executes the program of direct support to fishing (pro-pesca) which shall be exercised more than 7 million pesos this 2014 for the direct benefit of nayaritas fishermen.

"we were able to bring for the first time in nayarit pro-pesca, we pro-campo, pro-ganaderia but this resource has not reached to the entity, we manage it and we have it ready for our fishermen, are 7, 000 , 224 million pesos which have achieved for the benefit of 903 families engaged in fishing." thank for the support of the Secretary Enrique Martinez of Sagarpa for their support to the sector ", said the State Governor.

He also stressed that they are more than 14 million pesos managed between pro-pesca and other federal programs that will support the workers of the sea; recently the National Commissioner of aquaculture and fisheries, mario aguilar sanchez was in the State and said that this sector will be one of them who will be strengthened this year, with the granting of loans at low rates, in that regard he stressed the importance of fisheries and aquaculture of the entity, which in 2013 produced 34,000 807 tons (mainly shrimp, mojarra, shark, dogfish and Oyster), with a production value of more than 861 million pesos.

He referred to these supports are awarded prior fulfilment of a training process the beneficiaries, which seeks to improve the productivity of the sector which allow sea workers raise productivity and improve competitiveness, at the time that it encourages them respect closed periods and contribute to the sustainability of the fish species.
