Government of the People supports farmers to increase production

In order to give more performance to agricultural areas in the state of Nayarit, the Government of the People continues to support irrigated areas with new equipment entering the land piped irrigation system, this in the right margin of San Pedro River, in the Municipality of Rosamorada.

"These works give greater economy of this region and its main objective is to increase agricultural production, all in the interest of families working in the field in our state," said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development and Fisheries Emeterio Carlón Acosta.

Also announced that this year the addition of more than 400 hectares to the irrigation system on the right bank of the Rio San Pedro, for the irrigation district of the state of Nayarit
was achieved with an investment exceeding 3 millions 700 thousand pesos, benefiting over 80 farming families from their land.

He said the Government of the People seeks to benefit all nayaritas to have better income for their families families and develop agriculture in the state and to achieve to contribute to food sovereignty both searches the country and to convert Nayarit Mexico in the barn.
