Government Gets the Extraordinary Investment of 8.3 Million Pesos for Temporary Employment

During the last regular meeting of the subcommittees and Temporary Employment Assistance to Regions and Priority Areas, the Government of the People, by the Ministry of Social Development in Nayarit, got an extraordinary investment of 8 .3 million for the Temporary Employment Program (PET).

This was announced by the head of that agency, Orlando Jimenez Nieves, who explained that by PET, different federal agencies invest resources to create jobs and improve the living conditions of citizens.

"We got 8.3 million pesos more to Nayarit, 6 million to run the SCT rehabilitation and maintenance of roads, especially in the municipalities of El Nayar, Huajicori, Tepic and Santiago Ixcuintla where are you going to give temporary employment to people living in the communities; another 2.3 million pesos will be applied in the payment of wages of Temporary Employment Program federal SEDESOL "he said.

He said that in the municipalities of Santiago Acaponeta and people will be hired to conduct dengue prevention activities, painting walls, cleaning and improving streets.

"The PET program serves as a pinch hitter for communities where there work, where there is opportunity in private or public release; This program works to help the income of Nayarit families , this resource is already beginning to apply until October; will be hiring day laborers, a committee has weapon in communities and thereafter are hired and given employment to those most in need, "he concluded.

During 2013, the Government of the Republic invested through this program, about 70 million in Nayarit; So far in 2014 have been applied more than 50 million pesos.
