Government of the People, through the Ministry of Health, participated in the First Interstate Dengue West Region 2014, developed in Guadalajara and headed by the Director General of the National Center for Preventive Programs and Disease Control (CENAPRECE), Jesus Felipe González Roldán.

In his speech, the health secretary Nayarit Oscar Villaseñor Anguiano stressed the importance of these interstate games that reinforce actions including each state takes in fighting Dengue, unifying criteria and applying successful strategies that have I had.

He thanked, on behalf of Governor Roberto Sandoval and the Nayarit population, the support provided by the National Center for Preventive Programs and Disease Control, especially the cooperation of the staff with the equipment of our state vector.

Also, as part of their participation, Villaseñor Anguiano introduced participants of this meeting successful strategies used in Nayarit along the year 2014, which have helped to avoid the outbreak of the disease, with the dimensions lived last year.

"2013 was difficult about the outbreak we had in our state, but with the support of CENAPRECE and our government, we contain it.
