* The Mayor Ramon Guerrero announced that next year they will be supporting less fortunate families with footwear so that their children can go to school

With the delivery of materials of the program 'Casa Digna' carried out this Thursday by the mayor, Ramon Guerrero Martinez, the mission to support this year a total of 7 thousand families across the municipality to have a better home was accomplished.

On this occasion, 204 thousand households benefited from the colonies of El Toro, Lomas del Calvario, Lomas del Coapinole, El Calvario, residential development Héroes de la Patria, Lomas de Enmedio and El Mangal, representing nearly 5 thousand people that were benefited in this zone.

The Mayor Ramon Guerrero, said that contrary to what some thought, today the program 'Casa Digna' is a reality that has the goal that each of the families have safe assets that they can inherit to their children. He further stated that it is a program that is here to stay, so that in the next two years, those who are most in need will continue to be supported, so that they can improve their home and at the end of this administration, may have a decent place to inhabit.

"That's the goal of this program, I want end my term with the grounded satisfaction that this government could help you so they can have a heritage and a house, I want to go with that satisfaction but also, that you my friends help us so that this program that was born from you and was made for you, stays for Vallartans", said the mayor.

He said that this scheme of municipal support is a result of the savings achieved in many areas, such as travel and the payment of telephones for officials that were made in past administrations, "today we're delivering these savings to the people who have less with the same pesos that the city has, and today I tell you that the greatest resource, the greatest effort of my government, is going to the colonies and for the people who have the least; that was the commitment, to be a citizen government, a government that goes out to the street, that listens to people and that based on listening to people, puts itself to work".

The Vallartan Mayor said that this commitment is also reflected in other actions, such as the delivery of 52 thousand backpacks and packages for children of basic level and just over 20 uniforms, for which he announced that next year, in addition to these supports, school shoes will be delivered to students in the municipality.

He said that with this, it is sought that there is a permanent unit that looks out for a number of colonies, which will be strengthened with the optimization of lighting that takes place in the harbor and the rehabilitation of roads that start in the following months.
