standChicos Yelapa Beach Club invites you to join them on March 26 for the First Annual Volleyball and SUP Tournament.

The competition will begin around 10:00 am and is scheduled to start with the approximately 1 mile long SUP race followed by the volleyball tournament (some sources show the volleyball tournament first).

With music by DJ Gael Boye and entertainment provided by the club, this event will be an addition to the growing number of multisport activities carried out in the region.

SUP, acronym for Stand Up Paddle Board, is a sport that is increasingly gaining importance in coastal countries around the world, it consists of a paddle board in which the person should be standing while rowing through the water. It combines the strength and coordination of traditional rowing events like kayaking or canoeing, with balance and agility of events like surfing to generate an entertaining and energizing activity.

Reservations for the event or Panga service can be made through their email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., on the Facebook page, or online at Chicos Yelapa.
