Karen Jacobson Keeps on Projecting Puerto Vallarta with Paddle Surfing

kkPuerto Vallarta, Jal.- With her participation in different stand up paddle surfing tournaments, Karen Jacobson continues promoting Puerto Vallarta, especially after her outstanding performances which have placed her among one the World Tour’s favorites.

Her performances had given her wide press coverage, particularly the Sport Media, where she is constantly mentioning her hometown.

Recently in Hawaii, in the 39 Buffalo’s Big Board Surfing; which also included Stand p Paddle Squash, Bully Board, Bully Board Tandem, Team Body Board, Tandem Surfing and Canoe Surfing, Karen finished second in the Stand up Paddle Surfing category.

At the end of the competition, Karen was interviewed by the USA and Canadian Press, where she talked about her participation in the World Tournament but also invited the public to visit the place she calls “her paradise”, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Maya.

In the Stand up Paddle Squash, Karen participated with the Rogue Team which finished in fourth place.

Established in 2009, the Stand up World Tour is the most important Official Paddle Surfing Tournament. It is a World Tour with tournaments taking place in six different countries, with the participation of 15 surfers from different nationalities, competing in the tournament.

Besides the astonishing Hawaii beaches, the Surfing World Tour Calendar is also integrated by Brazil, Tahiti, United States, France and Morocco.

Karen is also preparing for the International Surfing Association World Cup, which will be taking place in May – here - in Puerto Vallarta.

Currently, Karen is Paddle Surfing National Champion. She is among the 10 top paddle surfers in the world. The sports lady has the support of Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust. She has represented Mexico in several international competitions and has been influential in having our region known.
