Puerto Vallarta, Jal.- Together with Lombardo Ontiveros from Sinaloa, Virgen Pulido is preparing himself for NORCECA (North America, Central America and Caribbean Confederation)
This year’s goal is to position among the three best Beach Volleyball players in the continent.NORCECA’s Beach Volleyball Tour 2015 starts March 18 in Guatemala City and Juan Ramon Virgen Pulido from Nayarit and Lombardo Ontiveros Gomez from Sinaloa, are training for these games. They are working hard to verify their position as the number one duo in the country, on the way to the Pan-American Games taking place in Toronto, Canada this year.
“We are concentrating on the NORCECA Tour and on the elimination process, working to make it to the Pan-American Games. We want to get there well prepared because we do want a medal. On 2011 I got to fourth place, very close the bronze medal; now, again, I get the opportunity to play and fight hard to get a medal for Mexico,” said Virgen Pulido.
With the support of Nayarit’s authorities, last year Virgen Pulido participated in the World Tour, where he won the Silver Medal; that day was one of celebration for Puerto Vallarta. He has also competed in Xiamen, China; Praga, Check Republic; Stavanger, Norwegian and Long Beach, United States.
