Five hundred competitors are expected at the 'Warrior Race'

wsFor second time in Puerto Vallarta there will be the 'Warrior Race'. This event will be for a cause, as food will be gathered for the San Juan Diego Asylum.The race is programmed for February 2nd and consists of running 5 kilometers in the land known as Mother Earth. The contestants will have to confront 16 obstacles such as crossing a mud pool, crawling, cross the ice swimming pool, force, resistance and ability.

"We wanted to bring a new event to Puerto Vallarta, a very good sports project, we are 100 percent Vallartan, we don't need to bring anyone from outside to do a quality event (...) You are going to get dirty, on the ground and you don't need to be a super athlete, anyone can do it", pointed out the event organizer, Jorge Ramos.

The inscription cost is of 350 pesos in cash besides no perishable food, diapers among other things.
The three first places will be rewarded with cash prizes and other gifts. There is a jack pot of almost 20 thousand pesos.

The day of saturday february first, the participants will be able to pick up their kit, which consists of a teeshirt, a medal and a bracelet, in the facilities of the 'Vive Fit' gym. There they will need to hand in their donation in kind.
