With the support of the City Council of Sports Promotion and Youth Support (Comufodaj), on Sunday August 18th the "Second Mother Earth Mountain Bike Race 2013" will be held, organized jointly by the company Velobike and the Cycling Club Amigos Vallarta where about 250 competitors are expected.

During the press conference headed by the organizers Javier Rodriguez Villaseñor of the Cycling Club Amigos Vallarta and Belín Villasante of the Velobike company, the details of this competition were announced, which takes place for the second year in a row. It was announced that next year it will be a part of the regional Mountain Bike serial and it is expected that the number of participants increases significantly.

In this mountain bike race the categories include children aged 5 and 6 years old, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. The youth categories will range from 15 to 19 years of age. The registration fee is 100 pesos for the youth categories, while adults pay 150 pesos. In the youth, intermediate, feminine, free and advanced categories, a pot of 19 thousand 650 pesos will be distributed in between the first three places of each category and branch, in the other categories medals will be awarded to the top three places.
