President of the DIF Visits the Delegation of Rhythmic Gymnastics

The delegation of Vallarta of gymnasts which will participate during the next days in the Tournament of Foundations of Rhythmic Gymnastics 2013, in the city of Querétaro, received the visit of the president of the System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF), Magaly Fregoso Ortiz.

In a public class put on by the Sports Center Alfonso Díaz Santos, located in the Bobadilla colony, the president of the organism of social assistance together with Juan Rincón, municipal sports director, the teacher Norma Angélica Joya, education sub-director, as well as representatives of the sponsoring companies, recognized the more than 70 athletes which will proudly represent Puerto Vallarta and the state of Jalisco, from the 10th to 14th of July in the sports duel.

It is about the six quintets of rythmic gymnastics of the categories A, B and C, who in this moment are participating in the state competition to qualify for the Tournament of National Foundations that will take place in the city of Querétaro.

In this event, the girls will present three routines: with empty hands, with tape or ribbon and with an optional accessory: rope, ring, ball or spikes.

Likewise, Fregoso Ortiz encouraged the athletes to give their best effort to overcome the results, as he is confident that they will come back victorious from the state and national competitions for which he delivered satchels and balls to train and keep their sports equipment.

He recognized the dedication and enthusiasm of the parents, and congratulated the gymnast coordinator, the teacher Evangelina Bernal Torres and the trainers: Lluvia Moreno Bernal, Isabel Rodríguez Lara, Yuma Arias Gómez and Ángel Rosales Morales, for implanting in the students the spirit of sport.

On other hand, it is worth noting that the level four gymnast students, quartets and individuals, where selected for the national competition, which took place on April of 2013, in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León.

The Foundations Tournament is the biggest in regards of participation of gymnasts, as there will be participation from more than 16 states from the Mexican Republic and 79 sports clubs of the country.
