What could be better than an oceanfront penthouse suite with your own private pool?
Just wait ‘till you hear all the amenities of My Luxury Vacation Experience. Whether you are a traveler seeking paradise, or a local looking for a quick get-away, Vallarta Shores is an amazing place to stay. Located right on the beach in the heart of Puerto Vallarta’s romantic zone, every room has spectacular unobstructed views around Banderas Bay. It is very near Los Muertos Beach, and you can look right down on the beach and the pier.
Suites range from 1 to 4 bedrooms, each with their own full bath, king beds, flat screen TV, and included cable and Wi-Fi. My suite had a large infinity pool right on the balcony, just steps from the living area, and seems to cascade straight into the ocean. All of their larger suites, called the Sky Suites, have their own private pool. There is also a large common area pool on the ground floor with a hot tub. I got to stay in the Penthouse Suite, which has 4500 square feet to roam and relax in, with 4 large bedrooms and a huge open living-dining-kitchen-patio area.
The master bedroom was absolutely gorgeous, with the ocean view side being all glass. The bed was quite comfortable, and all night long you can hear the soothing sounds of lapping waves. Being so close to the downtown PV nightlife, I was pleasantly surprised that the ocean was all I heard at night. The master bathroom had a large open shower and Jacuzzi tub, and was adorned with a beautiful bluish marble the color of chalcedony.
All 15 suites at Vallarta Shores have complete kitchens, and I did not see the others, but I can tell you the kitchen in the Penthouse Suite was impressive. To call it a full kitchen would be an inadequate description, I would call it Full Plus. Besides a full-size frig and 5 burner commercial grade stove, oven and microwave, it also had a separate unit ice machine, a wine refrigerator, a built-in coffee maker, and a pantry complete with some basic spices and staples. The cupboards were stocked with a multitude of every type of cup, glass, dish, bowl, knives and utensils, and pots and pans that you would ever need to make any meal. I counted silverware service for 18, and 17 dining chairs at 2 tables and a bar. The room was open and ample, facilitating easy conversation between the kitchen, dining, patio, and living room spaces.
Hold on to your hat, here is the kicker. The Vallarta Shores Sky Suites includes a private chef to please your culinary palette with two meals of your choice daily. When making your reservation, you will be asked what you would like the chef to prepare and how many guests you will have. The chef will do all the shopping, you will have to pay for the groceries, and then comes to your kitchen to cook your meals. We had Chef Carlo, and he made us a wonderful Mexican-style paella with wild rice, fresh sea bass, mussels, tuna, shrimp, and fresh vegetables. He brought mashed black beans, guacamole, a nutty chile oil, and the best flan cake that I have ever had, all that he made himself for us to enjoy. He also brought some delicious fresh panela cheese made in Tuito. After preparing and serving dinner, he cleaned the kitchen perfectly, washed the dishes, and put them away.
All the staff members at Vallarta Shores were friendly and attentive. Everything was impeccably clean, and there is always someone in the office until 9pm if you have any questions or if there is something you need that they can provide for you. The beautiful spacious rooms, the amazing view, the private pool and patio, and the friendly staff crowned with a personal chef all make this a truly pampered experience. And right now you can take advantage of some incredible late-summer discounts on their Sky Suites. Between September 14 through September 30, you can rent a Sky Suite for only $300 USD, please call for details and availability. So go ahead, treat yourself to pure luxury. Or go in with some friends or family and plan an overnight dinner party. With an occupancy of up to 10 persons, that is only $30 each person for the room. Either way, it will be an experience to remember.
