A Project Backed by the Punta Mita Foundation
The Vallartense Cultural Center (VCC) is a private sector project that emerged over three decades ago in the heart of the Isla del Río Cuale Park, making it the first Cultural Center in Puerto Vallarta. It is an independent cultural forum and currently serves as a space for groups of artists who voluntarily work together to create an area where nature and art coexist for the benefit of the community.
Through the Punta de Mita Foundation, the VCC receives support and backing to operate as an open-air forum that always promotes the care and respect for nature, art in all its forms, and community engagement through voluntary, free, and interdependent work.
The Punta de Mita Foundation was established in 2007 as a community foundation committed to supporting the region's communities through projects that improve the quality of life for its residents. With educational programs and resources donated by other nonprofit organizations, the foundation seeks financial support to expand the project.
The VCC has a vision of constantly working with a green philosophy connected to the surrounding nature, promoting permaculture, local, national, and international art, as well as proposals that arise from the community.
After the pandemic and the hurricane, the Vallartense Cultural Center is seeking new cultural and artistic proposals to establish a connection with the society interested in art and culture. If you or someone you know has an art project that the VCC can support for promotion or exhibition, do not hesitate to contact us to connect with the Vallartense Cultural Center in Puerto Vallarta. Art and culture are everyone's responsibility.
