Project Kambalache in Action.

The Los Mangos Library opens its doors to promote reading and poetry creation through Project Kambalache, which will also feature music, recitals, and a conference. The event will take place on Saturday, July 22nd, from 10 am to 8 pm in the Berenice Starr room.

This is a great opportunity to exchange books, sell, discuss literary works, and interact with the literary community of Puerto Vallarta. Kambalache is a space not only for lovers of literary works but also for entrepreneurs, which is why the bookstores "La Casa de los Libros," "Barcelona Books," "Previa Cita," "Librería Los Mangos," "Hojas del Bosque," "EcoPirata," "Gonvill," and "Trillas" will be present; these bookstores will offer discounts and special offers to all attendees.

The event, also known as the "Book Festival," will have a cultural program, including a classical violin recital by Miguel Ángel Barria, a poetic music show by Daniela Robledo and Alejandro Muraira, a poetry recital by the PYE (Poets and Writers Community), and the conference "Literary Creation" by Jorge Bátiz.

The PYE Community of Poets and Writers is committed to promoting the love for reading, the flavor of stories, the magic of words, the mystique of syntax, and the emotion of poetry. That's why they have organized an event that matches the cultural richness of Puerto Vallarta, reflecting a kaleidoscope of all the nations with which we interact daily, being a world-renowned tourist destination.
