A 2024 full of challenges for Vallarta Today.

The Multicultural Community of Vallarta Today has created an opportunity in Puerto Vallarta to create circular communication through our different social networks, giving our reading public the opportunity to give their opinion and propose articles of their choice or even write their own articles. 2024 was a year of opening for new possibilities to build and consolidate this great community.

Puerto Vallarta is home to a multicultural population, made up of local residents, retired foreigners (mainly from the United States and Canada) and international tourists. A bilingual medium in English and Spanish ensures that everyone can access relevant information without language barriers.

However, digital advances today already allow the almost immediate translation of our articles into any language, which further enhances our reading community.

We are aware that Tourism is the most important Economic Pillar of our beautiful city and that is why during 2024 we added more articles aimed at tourists, as this way we strengthen the taste and desire of tourists to return or visit Puerto Vallarta.

A bilingual media facilitates the promotion of events, attractions and services for visitors who do not speak Spanish, strengthening the tourism industry and promoting economic growth.

Vallarta Today has a solid commitment to growing tourism capacity and benefiting all those who live off this sector. 2025 will come with even greater strength to face all the challenges that this means.

Another aspect that was implemented during 2024 was social inclusion and connection as we began to expand our journalistic articles also linked to the needs of the most vulnerable areas of Puerto Vallarta, making visible what no one had dared to make visible but without falling into political polarity. Because the only purpose of these articles is to help people, not protect ideologies.

Vallarta Today promotes social integration by offering content that reflects both local culture and foreign perspectives. This fosters mutual respect and collaboration between different cultural groups.

During this year there was greater access to Relevant Information, promptly addressing the different events that occurred in our city. From climate emergencies, health alerts or government information, it is vital that all residents and visitors can receive accurate and real-time news in their preferred language, especially in critical situations.

2024 also took place amidst the promotion of Art and culture because in our news company we trust that a better society advances and is rebuilt through these fields, because the more children are oriented towards a culture of peace and harmony, the less crime there will be in the future. Because the more adults there are singing, dancing and acting, the happier the world will be.

Puerto Vallarta is a vibrant artistic and cultural center. A bilingual media allows both local and international artistic expressions to be highlighted, attracting the attention of global audiences and enriching the cultural fabric of the community.

In addition, during 2024, Vallarta Today has provided support to entrepreneurs and businesses because we know that a society in full economic growth and development is a society with greater opportunities to achieve and live with happiness and plenitude. Entrepreneurs and businessmen can benefit from a platform that reaches both the local and foreign markets.

This facilitates the expansion of businesses and job opportunities.

2025 comes for the people of Vallarta with new and interesting surprises from the Vallarta Today platform as we will launch a promotion system for new businesses totally free, this launch will come in the first months of 2025 and will serve to boost the economy of our city.

For Vallarta Today, education and learning are vital so that more people can read and cultivate themselves with our articles, understand them, comment on them and share them.

A bilingual medium also serves as an educational tool for those who wish to learn a second language. Spanish-speaking residents can practice English, while English speakers can improve their Spanish.

At Vallarta Today we promoted digital inclusion by launching articles on digital innovation and media and social networks, we even participated in the first world congress of digital media, being the only media in Puerto Vallarta to do so.

In an era dominated by technology, digital media is accessible from any device. The presence of bilingual content strengthens equal access to quality information.

The consolidation of local and international identity allows Vallarta Today to clearly promote the beauties and wonders of the city and also make an analysis of global circumstances since Puerto Vallarta is a world-renowned destination. A bilingual digital media like ours acts as a bridge between the local and the global, consolidating its image as an inclusive and modern community.

In addition, real-time coverage to interact with our news readers about the weather, cultural events, emergencies and important updates is an important plus that can also be shared quickly, benefiting both residents and tourists in their daily decisions.

At Vallarta Today, a digital media outlet in English and Spanish, we have managed, during 2024, to not only facilitate access to information in Puerto Vallarta, but also to promote inclusion, strengthen the economy, and preserve the multicultural identity of the region.

The administrative, editorial, photography, editing, marketing, and social media teams thank you because all of these advances would not have been possible without our readers. May the Light of the Universe shine in your hearts during the coming 2025.

Happy New Year.
