In order to continue making aware of the respect that should be given to animals, Kukur Tihar Festival will be held for the first time in Puerto Vallarta and Mexico, which is to "worship the dogs" on behalf of all animals.
The Hindu festival of Tihar or "festival of lights”, is a five-day celebration, where each day is dedicated to different religious figures. The second day is dedicated to worshipping and appreciating dogs.
This event aims to thank the dogs for their loyalty with love and respect.
We invite you to be part of this great experience.
Note: Pet owners are invited to bring the necessary items for the ceremony and a candle that will be lit in memory of all those dead pets and strays dogs.
