Football Tournament Honors the Name of Puerto Vallarta

On the night of Friday 6 there was the presentation, press conference and opening of the tournament in the installations of the hotel Plaza Pelicanos. The people in charge of welcoming the parents and child participants were the sports director of the Training Center 5 Davino, the ex Uruguayan player Hebert Birriel, the ex player of Argentinian nationality Walter “Lorito” Jiménez, and the ex player and assistant coach Flavio Davino, who knew the exact words to motivate the participant boys.

At 8:00 in the morning of Saturday December 7th, the initial kick started what were the first games in the fields of the Juntas Ejidal, where the games, that turned into an authentic football party, occurred thanks to family time, cheers and chants motivating the children.

In the game terrain there was the participation of the assistant coach Flavio Davino, who was in charge of observing the players and motivating them with the wise advice of a professional of his size, so that the boys can continue their soccer path which raises so much passion in children and adults. This first tournament had as a purpose to compete and at the same time to allow the observation of the players in order to open their way to football professionalism. It left unforgettable experiences to those present.

The results obtained in the tournament were very positive for the participant boys, in addition to the great experience lived, both by the parents and the boys. Thanks to this experience the organizers expect that the next tournament in 2014 will also be a success.

The Center of High Performance Soccer Training, Davino – Rebolledo is contributing with three Vallartan players for professionalism, who were observed by Flavio Davino and Hebert Birriel, sports director of the Training Center 5 Davino of the city of León Guanajuato. These selected youngsters will live the experience of passing a pre-season with the third division professional team of Flavio Davino.
