Again, dozens of local families and tourists visiting the destination, could enjoy the traditional parade of the Union of Charro Associations of Puerto Vallarta, where the mayor Ramón Guerrero Martinez was present, who accompanied by civilian and military authorities, handed awards to young charros who participated in the National Charrería Championship that took place in the city of Guadalajara.

The team that represented Puerto Vallarta is comprised of Ramón de Jesús Ibarra, Alejandro Bautista, Ricardo González, José de Jesús Emiliano Palacios, who won recognition as the Charro of the Day and in third place in "tails"; Francisco Bernal and Alfonso Bernal, each of them came up on their horse to where the mayor was to receive their recognition.

The parade consisted of 180 participants, including riders, escaramuzas, children and charros, where there was the participation of the associations: Charros de Vallarta, Los Camperos, Ramón Ibarría González, Charros de El Pitillal, El Asadero, Las Palmas, Hacienda Serena, El Ganadero, Rancho el Naranjal, Charros del Herradero, Las Juntas and Charros de Mi Rancho Ixtapa.
