Vallartenses win in the Robotics World Cup in Europe


In Puerto Vallarta, a group of three girls of 10 and 12 years of age traveled to Germany to participate in the World Robotics Championship WRO, held in the city of Dortmund, Germany, from the 16th to the 19th of this month.

The vallartenses Danna Gabriela Soto Ramirez, Argelia Bravo Lopez and Aitana Bravo Lopez competed with 73 countries in the world; where they won first place in the creativity category, showing the quality of this discipline in the World Robotics World Cup.

Professor Gabriel Soto Castañeda, who is the director of the Katatronik club in Puerto Vallarta, informed that a total of 365 teams from 73 countries of the world participated in the competition and it was in the category of Future Lego Innovators that the girls from Vallarta obtained the first place in the Creativity modality.

The recognition had to do with the design, analysis, application and operation of robots.

Robotics develops multiple intelligence in young people and helps students with special abilities.

INTELLIGENCE AND CREATIVITY

In Puerto Vallarta, Professor Gabriel Soto Castañeda directs the Katatronik Club, in which around 25 students participate, who stand out for their intelligence and creativity and who have already attended other competitions such as the World Cup held in the United States.

Danna Gabriela, Argelia and Aitana lived an experience that will be unforgettable for them when they traveled to Germany to participate in a World Cup in which they shared experiences and developed their creativity together with participants from 73 countries around the world, which is why their triumph is very important when facing 364 teams.
