Be Italian Starring Gloria Fiona

Be Italian, starring the hilarious and talented Gloria Fiona who will tell you she is not from Italy, She is from ROME. Gloria first became popular as someone in the crowd who stepped up to sing karaoke one night in Encore last summer. The crowd went wild and the next week she won a contest that placed her as a singer in the Act II Back to School Fundraiser. Gloria went on to be the crowd favorite and placed 2nd in the VOICE OF VALLARTA season 3 beating out Hundreds of contestants. Most recently on RADIO, Gloria closed her show and she was talked about by everyone. This girl is funny as hell and she can sing and "she should be in the high season lineup" said everyone in attendance. Once again, Be Italian is directed and produced by PV show maker Alfonso Lopez. Alfonso is becoming a top producer quickly in Puerto Vallarta not only as Artistic Director of the Puerto Vallarta Gay Men's Chorus but also for Act II. Alfonso is now in pre-production for Tony Award winning musical AVENUE Q.

Sing-Along returns to Act II Entertainment. The Movie Music Sing-Along was such a huge success that they are doing it again on Tuesday July 5 at 8:00 pm. This week we will remember the victims of Orlando and Veracruz with hosts Marsha Ward Ross and Alfonso Lopez. You will get a song book as well as the words being projected on the screen and we will sit in Encore Lounge around the stage and sing along with some of the best Broadway Musicals in History. We will Also have Stand up Bingo benefiting the PVGMC. The Act II Sing-Along was created as a fun way to raise money for the PVGMC the Puerto Vallarta Gay Men's Chorus. For many years the Chorus has Had to go from rehearsal to rehearsal space with no home during the high season to perform. Now with your help we are building a Forever Home for the PVGMC on the roof of Act II Entertainment. Hobo's no more. So, please come join us in the fun and at the same time help build a home for the Chorus before winter comes and they are out in the snow.

Eli Estarada was crowned the winner of Voice of Vallarta 2016 and has not wasted any time. Eli has just finished a very successful run of RADIO performed at Act II Red Room and has been cast in a lead role in next season's AVENUE Q. Also Eli was the winner of the much coveted Vallarta Voice of Cabaret Week taking the audience by storm with incredible stage presence. After 5 months of rehearsal and private coaching from Alfonso Lopez, producer and manager, Eli has created a show that will be sure make you laugh, cry and cheer. Performed in BROKEN ENGLISH, Eli is sure to be a hit in the high season!

The ex star of the series Two and a Half Men spent a few days at the Four Seasons; actress Perrey Reeves celebrated her honeymoon at Villa La Estancia; Mexican actors Armando Torrea, Natasha Dupeyron and Sofía Sisniega vacationed in Punta Mita.

Popular North American actor and comedian Charlie Sheen, ex lead in the series Two and a Half Men, returned to the Riviera Nayarit to enjoy some much needed R&R, repeating a getaway he took back in 2011.

One of the friends he was with on this trip tagged him in his Twitter pic, where he gives thanks for the nine excellent days they spent at the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita.

Multifaceted New York actress Perrey Reeves was also spotted this past month in the Rivera Nayarit as she enjoyed her honeymoon at Villa La Estancia in Flamingos, where the idyllic and very romantic sunsets swept her off her feet.

Young Mexican actresses Natasha Dupeyron and Sofía Sisniega also spent a few days of fun in the sun in Punta Mita.

A few weeks ago Mexican actor Armando Torrea took some days off to enjoy The St Regis Punta Mita. He described the Riviera Nayarit in his social media accounts as “delightful.”

All of the celebrities that visited the Riviera Nayarit in June mentioned the Destination in their social media accounts and, in some cases, other types of media as well. Charlie Sheen alone has over 11 million followers just on Twitter.
