Puerto Vallarta Hosting XII National Congress of DARE Officers

The topics to discuss are related to the fight against addiction in children of preschool, primary and secondary

During the event, the Officers discussed the best strategies for preventing drug use in children, being a major awareness of people through constant talks in schools.

Note that this program is from Los Angeles California, which began in 1998 as an alternative to prevent addiction.

It will have the presence of the following personalities:
• Ramon Demetrio Guerrero, Mayor of Puerto Vallarta
• Enrique Cerez, Director General of the Prevention of Crime,
• Luis Carlos Najera Gutierrez de Velasco, Secretary of Public Security of the State of Jalisco,
• Ing. Nora Badilla, Director of the National Center of Mexico

Meanwhile the lawyer Elias Salvador Gudiño Chavez, coordinator of the event told us that DARE is a program that has a presence in over 40 countries worldwide, and here in Mexico at least 14 states have a DARE officers.

Train and update them with new technical tools to enable  to  develop their work better. Through these conferences are learning, detection of children's mental health, global statistics on drug use, also the black number that occurs in the railings with the Attorney General of the Republic, as well as breeding programs.

Note that this program is only for certified police officers in the program. He also referred to the character of this event which said who represents the DARE program is the official mascot for children and is called DARIO.
