Puerto Vallarta Jalisco News.- As an initiative of the municipal government chaired by Ramón Guerrero Martínez, in coordination with the Federal Ministry of Labor, organisms and business chambers that conform the Regional Advisory Council of Qualification and Training, from November 25 to 29, will carry out the 'XLVII Week of Labor Culture and Productivity in the Work, through which, a total of 80 free courses will be offered to the Vallartan workers.

In a press conference, the boss of Human Resources of the city council, Héctor Manuel Briseño Navarro, pointed out the interest of this government in promoting this type of days which will allow to have better prepared people in the productive areas of the municipality.

“Part of what is being done and the idea of this, is to generate in all the companies this culture of training the employees, many times the time and the opportunity is not given to them to go out to get trained, and this is very important”, detailed Briseño Navarro, who added that this qualification is not only aimed at workers, but to all the population in general.

He also pointed out that in this occasion, the courses will be divided into six areas, in agreement to its aims and theme, such as the Quality in the Service and Human Development, Leadership and Sales, Security and Hygiene, Foods and Drink, Maintenance, as well as Computers, English and Beauty Culture.

This year in addition to the qualification activities, the civil servant informed, that there will also be a 'Labor Culture Expo', next Friday November 22, from 9 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, in the lateral corridors of the municipal presidency. In it there will be the participation of 22 organizations that are part of the Regional Advisory Council of Qualification and Training in Puerto Vallarta, which will offer its services and will invite to form part of any of the 80 courses that there will be during the week.

Likewise at the 17:00 hours of this same day, the conference ‘The suitable mentality to get ahead and win' will be given by Emilio Cornejo, in the central playground of the municipal presidency. For Monday 25, the different courses in each of the participant establishments will commence, which will have a limited capacity and for which their registration will have to be directly in the institution where the training will be given.

For his part Luis Felipe Domínguez Rodríguez, representative of the Ministry of Labor appreciated the support of the municipal government for the organization of this event, since, he said, it reflects the commitment that they have to the qualification and the work related learning of the citizens.

“We are happy that the City Council takes the second Week of Labor Culture in its edition number XLVII, because that is the commitment that this administration assumes, of wanting to motivate with training to all the workers and to those who are unemployed, because through qualification they generate people who are more creative, innovative and productive. We invite the employers and the workers to participate in any of the 80 courses that will be offered”, outlined the representative of the Ministry of Labor.

In this press conference there was also the presence of Ramón Willman, administrative chief of the Head of Economic Development, Arnulfo Ortega Contreras president of COPARMEX Vallarta and Manuel Becerra Lepe, in representation of the Confederation of Workers of Mexico.
