The Riviera Nayarit’s efforts to diversify the markets continue.
So it was that in early February a group of directors and managers from 12 top Russian travel agencies made their way to the Riviera Nayarit so they could explore the region and its tourism offer.
The group was convened by the Good Times Travel agency, which after this FAM trip expects its fellow countrymen to visit the destination, as the agencies it represents are among the most respected by Russian travelers seeking exclusivity and adventure and nature experiences.
During their stay in Mexico’s Pacific Treasure the visitors became acquainted with high-end luxury products, enjoyed the local gastronomy and the haute cuisine restaurants, and even experienced the traditional seaside villages firsthand.
The Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) together with the Bahía de Banderas Hotel and Motel Association (AHMBB) created a very complete itinerary that included tours to the Islas Marietas National Park and Sayulita Pueblo Mágico, plus an amazing whale watching experience in Banderas Bay.
Agents also performed site inspections at some hotels in Nuevo Vallarta and Punta de Mita.
At the end of their stay in Mexico’s Pacific Treasure, the travel agency representatives were pleasantly impressed not only with the destination’s natural attractions, but also with its hotel offer, high-end tourist services, gastronomy, and culture, but most of all with the warm, pleasant hospitality of its people, as they always felt welcome and were very grateful for that touch.
The agencies on this trip to the Riviera Nayarit were: Good Times Travel (FAM trip organizer); Ves Mir Travel; Life Time Travel; Life Time Travel; Phoenix LLC Travel; Den Tour; Elegia Travel; Shop Fire Tour; Finisterra Travel; Monitor Line Voyage; Rossita Travel and Panaceya Travel, all of them located in St. Petersburg.
