About Carol

So you will know a bit about me. Il was raised in Hammond, Indiana, a town just outside of Chicago in northern Indiana. In 1983 I moved to New Jersey and spent the next nearly 20 years working and living there.

I had two sisters and two brothers, all younger than I. One brother was killed in an auto accident in 1989, the other has lived with his family in the Dallas, Texas area for many years. My two sisters still reside in the Chicago area.

My pride and joy are my three children, two sons and a daughter, and five grandchildren, four boys and a girl, all of whom are now out of high school and doing well. My oldest grandson is in the US Navy and will be getting married in December of 2012. And my only granddaughter is a freshman at Keystone College in Pennsylvania.

After coming to Vallarta for the first as a tourist, I fell in love with the atmosphere and the people of Vallarta. On my second visit I decided I would like to retire to our little paradise and moved here permanently in 1998 after retiring from AT&T after almost 30 years. Even with all the changes over the years, I am still in love with Vallarta and it’s people and culture.

After being here a few years, I started a wedding coordination business, Vallarta Original Weddings - VOWs®, which is still operating today but on a less vigorous scale.

I became a naturalized Mexican citizen in 2007 and have been an active member of the Puerto Vallarta Navy League A.C., a charitable organization which deals mainly with toy purchase and distribution for the local Toys for Tots program and community relations projects to assist the children and elderly in Puerto Vallarta. I am currently the treasurer for the Puerto Vallarta Navy League A.C.

After working in a local boutique owned by a friend who passed away in 2010, I decided to open my own boutique. Carol’ Boutique is the culmination of a year’s hard work and planning, but I am proud of what it has become and hope you all will vist when you can.
